Connecting Families to Resources

We help fill the gap for reentry services providing support and information to connect with us and the other providers in our community.

Meet Our Executive Director

Chauncy Gaines

Our organization was founded by someone who understands the challenges of reentry on a deeply personal level. Our Executive Director grew up with a parent behind bars—his father spent more than 20 years in prison. Experiencing firsthand the emotional, financial, and social hurdles that families face, he saw how difficult it can be for returning citizens to rebuild their lives, even long after their release.

Motivated by that experience, he created this program to ensure that no one has to navigate reentry alone. His vision is rooted in dignity, opportunity, and second chances. Under his leadership, our organization focuses on practical support—employment readiness, mentorship, housing navigation, life-skills training—as well as the compassion and respect every individual deserves.

Today, he continues to drive our mission forward: helping people leaving prison not just reenter their communities, but truly thrive within them.

She uses the lessons learned in the field—about resilience, renewal, and navigating unpredictable conditions—to help individuals prepare for the challenges of life after incarceration. Heather’s classes connect real-world science with practical life skills, showing participants how to rebuild steadily, adapt to change, and create new growth after difficult seasons.
